Test drive the Virtual Nano car on Your Desktop

Though the physical test drive option for the world’s cheapest car Tata Nano is not available, its online alternative attracted over 1.2 million users in the last one month.

Tata Motors, in association with Reliance-Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (R-ADAG)-owned Zapak.com, launched the online game based on the Nano March 23 which would enable the user to drive around the virtual small car on his desktop.

India’s leading online gaming portal Zapak.com has announced the launch of virtual Tata Nano car on their web service. Web users get a chance to drive around in a virtual Nano right on their desktop.

Zapak Digital Entertainment spoke about this new game: “Users can log on and play the game for free. We have received a good response to the game.” The game has been developed with approval from Tata Motors which is currently accepting bookings for the Tata Nano car. The Nano website has received 25 million hits since the launch of the Rs.100,000 car March 23.

“The Tata Nano is a dream come true for India. Everyone wants to own the Nano and experience it in every way possible. The game is a hit among our users and we are thrilled with the response,” Arun Mehra, chief marketing officer of Zapak Digital Entertainment, said Tuesday.

The first phase of bookings for the car, billed as the world’s cheapest, began April 9 and will end Friday.The company is expected to start delivery of the car in July.
